What to expect at a "ELITE SPEED" Camp

Day One: Acceleration and Speed Evaluation/ Technique Training

(warm-up/group and individual work/ flexibility)

Day Two: Technique, Speed, Power, Coordination, Flexibility Training

(warm-up/group and individual work/ flexibility)

Day Three: Sports Specific Group and Individual Work

(warm-up/group and individual work/ flexibility)

Day Four: Camper/Team Contests/Final Evaluations/Express Awards

(warm-up/team contest/individual evaluations/flexibility)

Note:All group work will be done based on age group and/or level of ability. The athletes welfare and ability will always be our primary focus.

GUIDELINES

  • Camp will begin promptly at 6:00 pm -8:30pm.

  • No one will be permitted to leave camp unless accompanied by a parent or guardian

  • If your athlete has any special requirement, please notify Coach Wilks

  • Please be sure your athlete drinks plenty of fluids during the camp week

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

  • A good pair of running shoes

  • Shorts and a tee shirt

  • Towel (make sure the athletes name is on it)

  • Water bottle (name on it too)
