Age Divisions
Youth competition typically takes place in two-year age divisions. These age divisions provide young athletes the opportunity to compete with other athletes of similar ability. All ages are as of December 31 of the current year.
USA Track and Field changed the age division names that will take affect with the 2013 season. The age division for competition year 2013 are as follows:
